1. What is led?

A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor device that emits light when current flows through it. Electrons in semiconductors recombine with electron holes, releasing energy in the form of photons. LEDs are just little lights that can easily fit into a circuit. 7. Is LED lighting better than incandescent or halogen lamps?

About 80-90% of the energy emitted by an incandescent light bulb is converted into heat instead of light. 9. How long can LED lights last?
